Florida Memorial University men's basketball team (6-4, 4-0 TSC) hold off Judson University 63-62 on Friday night at FMU Wellness Center.
Florida Memorial opened the game with an 13-0 run, but Judson responded with a 10-4 run to cut the lead to 17-11. The teams went back-and-forth for the rest of the half with Florida Memorial heading to the break with a 40-27 advantage.
Coming out of the break, Florida Memorial opened the second half on a run and was able to extend its lead to 13, 53-40. Judson came back with a 13-1 run to take a 55-54 lead with 9:40 to play. Florida Memorial made enough free throws down the stretch to hold off Judson 63-62.
Charlie Nedd-Araujo led the Lions with 20 points.
Kody Williams finished with a double-double, 15 points and 10 rebounds.
