Florida Memorial Men's Basketball team used full-court pressure to pull away and defeat Keiser University 84-82 in conference play at Countess de Hoernle Student Life Center on the campus of Keiser University. Florida Memorial picks up their eleven win of the season to improve to 11-4 and 7-0 in conference. With the win, Florida Memorial University completes a sweeps of # 18 Keiser University. The Lions are off to the best start in school history at 11-4 and a perfect 7-0 record in Conference play.

Keiser opened the game on a 10-2 run in the first half, but Florida Memorial answered with a 13-4 run to take their first lead of 15-14 with 13:29 remaining. FMU stretched the lead to 22-17, Keiser went on a 12 -0 run and regained the lead 29-22 advantage with 6:15 left in the half. The back and forth continue throughout the half with Keiser holding a slim 45-40 lead at halftime. The first half saw both sides shoot well with Keiser connecting at 43% (15-for-36) and Florida Memorial connecting at 41% (16-for-37).
In the second half, Keiser mounted their largest lead 47-40 with 17:29 to play. But the Lions roared their way back from a seven point deficit behind a 7-0 run over the next five minutes to tie the game at 47-47. But Keiser would not go quietly and fought back and forth with Florida Memorial. The shootout continued with five lead changes in the second half and With 23.8 left and FMU leading 81-80, Keiser stole the inbound ball and scored to go in front 82-81 with 12 seconds left. Jaelyn Johnson-Coston hit a three pointer with five seconds left to regain an 84-82 lead and the Lions prevailed with an 84-82 road victory.
