Florida Memorial University men's basketball team (5-3, 2-2 TSC) rolls past Johnson & Wales University on Thursday night at the Wildcat Center.
Florida Memorial got off to a spectacular start and were able to build a 15 point lead in the first half, FMU went into the locker room up 41-26.
Coming out of the break, Johnson & Wales opened the second half on a run and was able to tie up the game, 66-66. Florida Memorial made enough free throws and big shots down the stretch to hold off Johnson & Wales 75-73.
Davon Williams led the Lions with 20 points and grabbed 8 rebounds, while Travis Mitchell poured in 14 points, Omar Outar contributed 9 points and
trio of Roody Romain ,Evens Jacques & Kase Carrera poured in 7 points each.
Florida Memorial University Lions will host Keiser University on Saturday, December 9, 2017 for a 4:00 p.m. tip-off.
