Florida Memorial Men's Baseball team Lions showcased their power arms in a great two-game series against
Nyack College on Saturday at
Harry T. Moore Baseball Field. The Lions shut out Nyack College by the scores of 5-0 and 10-0.
Game 1 Recap:
Raymond Guerrero would push the Lions to an early 1-0 lead in game 1 in the bottom of the first inning with a RBI single. The score would remain 1-0 until the top of the 3rd inning, Argenis Hernandez would add a key insurance run in the top of the 3rd, by scoring on a wild pitch to lead 2-0.
Chris Clara homered to left field, Sergio Chil and Pablo Delgado scored to put the Lions lead to 4-0 in the bottom of the 6th. Sergio Chil added a next run in the inning for the Lions
Carlos Alcon would go the distance in the Lions win, Alcon allow no runs and strike out 4 batters in the win.
