Florida Memorial Men's baseball team scored 14 runs as they defeated Florida National University 14-1 on Tuesday afternoon at Harry T. Moore Baseball Field. The Lions bats came alive as they pounded out 14 runs, 14 RBI and 9 hits.
Florida Memorial took a 7-0 lead with seven runs in the second and added on two more runs in the third inning .Florida Memorial tacked on five runs in the fifth inning for good measure to give the Lions a 14-1 victory.
Brandon Carter had a nice day on the mound for Florida Memorial, going five innings for the Lions.

Robert Meija led the way for the Lions going 2-for-2 with two runs and two RBI's, while
Axel Gomez went 1-for-1 with two runs scored.
Chris Clara also recorded one hit, and scored a pair of runs for the Lions.
Florida Memorial will return to action on Saturday March 110, 2017 when they host Nyack College for a nonconference series at 12pm.
