MIAMI GARDENS, FLA) -- Florida Memorial University's men's and women's soccer teams are back on home field for conference play versus Webber International and Warner University, Wednesday, October 2.
The women's team takes the field first against Webber with hopes to register their first win of the season.
It has been a tough road for the team but the Lions will continue to fight through adversity and a short roster.
FMU is 0-7 overall while Webber is 3-2-1. Both teams are 0-2 in conference play.
On the men's side, the last time they took the field the Lions fell 3-1 to NCAA Division II opponent Barry University in a non-conference matchup.
Prior to that match, FMU played an exciting match against conference foe Ave Maria University resulting in a roaring 3-2 win in overtime.
Warner comes into the match 4-3 after defeating conference opponent Thomas University 1-0 and just like the Lions posts a 1-0 record in conference play.
The games will take place at Emmanuel "Manno" Sanon Soccer Park in Little Haiti. The women's game will begin at 1 P.M. followed by the men's contest at 3 P.M.
