(MIAMI, Fla.) -- The Florida Memorial University men's soccer team took a 1-3 loss to Johnson & Wales University, Wednesday, October 16.
Less than 10 minutes into the game, Senior
Caleb Acosta score the Lions' lone goal off a penalty kick.
He finished the match with three of FMU's nine shots.
The Wildcats scored three second half goals to steal the win and increase their record to 3-1-1 in the conference while the Lions drop to 1-4.
Five other Lions took shots in the match including seniors
Luis Martinez (2) and Nicolas Thompson (1) and freshmen
Carlos Estrada,
Paolo Caro and Jonathan Franco who each finished with one.
FMU returns to action Saturday, October 19 at St. Thomas for a 7P.M. start.
