(MIAMI GARDENS, Fla.) -- Miami Gardens was full of fierce competition Saturday night as the Florida Memorial men's soccer team fell 0-6 to St. Thomas, October 19.
In the first half defense on both sides of the ball were in full battle mode.
Neither teams were able to do much offensively as the Lions ended the half with only one shot while the Bobcats took five shots with one that eventually landed the lone goal of the first half at the 20:26 mark.
During the second half the Lions struggled at the goalie position allowing five more St. Thomas goals.
Their final goal came within the last five minutes of the game.
Still hoping for a chance to make the playoffs, the Lions will travel to Thomas University this weekend to take on the Night Hawks, Saturday, October 26 at 12P.M.
