Game Recap: Women's Soccer |

Women's Soccer Unsuccessful at Johnson & Wales

(NORTH MIAMI, Fla.) -- Florida Memorial University's women's soccer program drops to 0-12 after a loss to Johnson & Wales, Wednesday, October 16. 

The match went scoreless for the first 20 minutes before the Wildcats got on the board at the 21:55 mark. 

JWU scored three goals in the first half of the match off of 18 shots, while FMU took six shots.

In the second half of the match the Lions struggle offensively only able to take two shots while their opponent took 15 more and scored six additional goals. 

Sophomores Mariana Rincon and Thalita Azevedo each took three shots in the match for the Lions.

Goalkeeper Garcy Momplaisir collected seven saves against the Wildcats. 

Going back on the road, the team will travel to Southeastern University, Saturday, October 19 for a 7P.M. start.
