(THOMASVILLE, Ga.) -- The Florida Memorial men's soccer team traveled to Georgia over the weekend to take on Thomas University in a 0-7 loss, Saturday, October 26.
The Lions fall to 1-6 in the conference while the Night Hawks improve to 4-3.
Thomas scored three of their goals in the first half, the first coming at the 29:54 mark.
While FMU took eight shots in the top half, they weren't able to get any of them in the net.
The Lions took another seven shots in the second half but good defense from the Night Hawks kept them scoreless as only two of their shots in the match were on goal.
Sophomore goalkeeper
Angel Garcia finished the match with four saves for the Lions.
Senior
Caleb Acosta led the Lions with five shots while
Nicholas Thompson,
Carlos Estrada and
Faris Brkan each added two.
Other attempts from the Lions came from senior
Luis Martinez (3) and junior
LaVaughn McKay.
The Lions travel to Webber International, Wednesday, October 30 for a 3:30P.M. game.
