(MIAMI, FLA) -- Despite the score, gloomy weather and the lack of numbers, the Florida Memorial University women's soccer team played a phenomenal game against Webber International University, Wednesday, October 2.
Starting the match with just 10 players, FMU played with so much intensity and Lion Pride.
Florida Memorial only took three shots in the match of which two came from sophomore
Thalita Azevedo while Webber took a total of 16 shots.
Nine of the Warrior's shots were saved by the FMU' goalie, sophomore
Garcy Momplaisir.
The Lions played great defense against the Warriors for almost 80 minutes as the match went scoreless until Webber was able to get one in the net in at 79:56 mark.
With no substitutions FMU started to tire out and allowed two more goals all within the final 10 minutes to allow a 3-0 win for Webber.
Florida Memorial will travel to Savannah College of Art & Design (SCAD) this weekend, Saturday, October 5 for another conference matchup.
