The Lions were blown out at home on Thursday night at the Wellness Center by Keiser University (13-11, 9-5 TSC).
The Florida Memorial University Lions (4-21, 2-11) took on the Seahawks and the Lions were looking to get into the win column. However, the Seahawks were too much for the Lions to handle. The Lions jumped out early with a couple of 3-pointers but that was all that the Lions were able to do in this game as the Seahawks called time out and regrouped and scored in bunches. The Lions shot 42% from the field, 32% from behind the 3-point arc, and 33% from the charity stripe. The final score was 57-92.
Leading the way for the Lions was Charlie Nedd-Araujo with 17 points and
William Phelps with 12 points.
The Lions will travel up the road next Saturday, Feb. 2nd, at 4:00 p.m. to take on Johnson and Wales University.
GO LIONS!!
