The Lions lose game 3 of the 3-game series to the Seahawks 3-12.
The Lions offense earned 10 hits, 3 of those were doubles, 3 RBI, and drew 6 walks, but it wasn't enough as Keiser had 14 hits and scored 12 runs.
The Seahawks scored 2 runs in the bottom of the first inning and the Lions came back to tie the score at 2-2 in the top of the 3rd inning. The Lions suffered a bad inning in the bottom of the 4th. The Seahawks scored 9 runs in that inning taking advantage of some miscues by the Lions and timely hitting.
The Lions would add one more run in the top of the 7th inning to make the score 3-12 in favor of the Seahawks and that is all that the Lions could do. The loss drops the Lions' record to 20-16, 8-10 TSC and improves the Keiser University's record to 23-14, 10-8 TSC.
Brandon Carter suffered the loss as he pitched only 2/3 of an inning, allowed 4 hits and was tagged for 6 runs.
Edison Cabrera and
Jouseph Renovales would each earn 2 hits out of 4 plate appearances and Jacques Perry would also earn 2 hits.
The Lions will be on the road next weekend as they take on conference leading Southeastern University who has yet to lose a conference game.
GO LIONS!!
