Lions Look To Break Sailfish Win Streak

(WEST PALM BEACH FLA.) – Determined to change history, the Florida Memorial men's soccer team look to dethrone No. 9 Palm Beach University on Monday, September 16. 

Entering the match 1-2, FMU last took the field in a 1-6 loss to Lynn University. Florida Memorial struggled defensively in the first half of the match and allowed four LU goals by the 40th minute.

Senior Caleb Acosta cut the Fighting Knights 4-0 lead back down to three after scoring the Lions' lone goal of the match. 

Their opponent, Palm Beach defeated No. 18 Spring Hill 2-1 in their last match. Since 2009, the Lions have gone 0-5 against the Sailfish including two shutout losses last season.

They will host FMU with a perfect 3-0 record.

Florida Memorial will travel to Palm Beach Atlantic for the match starting at 7 P.M.
