(FORT LAUDERDALE, FL) -- The men's soccer team were unable to capture a win on the road against Nova Southeastern University, Friday, September 20.
The Lions fell 0-8 to the Sharks whose record increased to 3-1-1, while FMU falls to 1-4.
Nova scored their first goal in the seventh-minute and another in the eighth-minute to take a 2-0 lead over Florida Memorial. By the half the Sharks were up 5-0.
The Lions finished the match with 10 shots, six of which were on goal. Senior
Caleb Acosta accounted for half of the teams shots and went 4-for-5 on goal.
Sophomore
Angel Garcia finished with five saves in the match.
Florida Memorial will begin conference play when they host Ave Maria University, Saturday, September 28 at 11:30 AM.
