Volleyball Extends Win Streak After Defeating Florida National

(MIAMI GARDENS, FLA) -- Florida Memorial University's volleyball team continues to set the standard as they defeated Florida National University 3-0, Thursday, September 19.

Junior Daphinie Correa led all players with 14 kills and a block. Sophomore Rachele Mancinelli added eight kills and three aces while junior Sammyra Albarran finished with seven kills and three digs.

Junior setter Francheska Rivera handed out 24 assists while classmate Alanis Santana finished with 10. Defensively the Lions were led by junior Keisha Santana who led all players with 14 digs. 

The team, now 8-4, will host conference opponent Webber University (4-5), Saturday, September 21 at 2 P.M.
