BOCA RATON, FLA.) -- After a tough loss against St. Thomas, the Florida Memorial men's soccer team hit the road to take on Lynn University, Thursday, September 5. Lynn is ranked No. 12 in the United Soccer Coaches preseason poll heading into Thursday's contest.
In their home opener on Thursday, Aug. 29, the Lions dropped a 0-3 non-conference decision to St. Thomas after a 1.5 hour rain delay. After a long weekend, they are energized and excited to return home with a victory.

Luis Martinez,
Jose Isaac Romero and
Rahjay Kerr. Each player has one goal so far this season that they scored in the season opener against Ave Maria.
Sophomore goalkeeper
Angel Garcia collected 12 saves over two games for the Lions.
This will the first time this season that the Fighting Knights will take the field. The last time the two teams faced off, Lynn finished with a 1-0 victory over Florida Memorial after scoring a goal in the 44th minute.
They are led by senior Lukas Borner who started all 18 matches last season and helped their defense record eight shutouts and a 0.79 goals against average.
The match will take place at 6 P.M. in Boca Raton.
