Lady Lions Struggle Monday, Fall To Nova Southeastern

DAVIE, Fla. – Florida Memorial University's women's soccer team was defeated by host Nova Southeastern University 7-0 Monday night at NSU's Soccer Complex.

The Lady Lions (0-3) struggled to generate any offensive momentum – being credited for a season-low zero shots and zero corners. Nova Southeastern, conversely, took 37 shots with 23 shots on goal.

FMU goalkeeper Hailey Ilijin finished with a game-high 15 saves.

Florida Memorial will have a couple of days to prepare before it will hit the road again, traveling to face NCAA Division-II opponent Palm Beach Atlantic on Thursday.
