FMU Falls To Palm Beach Atlantic Thursday

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – Florida Memorial University's women's soccer program dropped its second consecutive match to an NCAA Division-II opponent Thursday, losing 7-0 to host Palm Beach Atlantic University at PBA's Soccer Field.

It was tough sledding for the Lady Lions (0-4) as they weren't credited with any shots or corner kicks Thursday.

Goalkeeper Hailey Ilijin had another bittersweet night in that she recorded 8 saves, however that rubbed against the number of goals allowed.

Florida Memorial will have a couple of days of rest before head coach Anna Maliszewska takes her team on the road for the third straight time this week when they travel to Jacksonville, Florida to face Edward Waters University Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m.
