Lions drop third straight conference contest in 89-80 loss to Keiser

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. | Florida Memorial dropped their third straight conference contest in an 89-80 loss to Keiser in the Countess de Hoernle Student Life Center.

The Lions produced one scorer in double figures as Tariq Humes finished with 11 points on the evening. Teammates Cam'Ron Wilson and Teonta McKeithen both added nine points each for FMU,

As a team, Florida Memorial shot nearly 50 percent from the field (31-for-66) while their counterpart shot exactly 50 percent from the floor (29-for-58). On the defensive end, the Lions forced 15 turnovers while committing 11. However, FMU struggled from the free-throw line all night, converting 11-of-21 free throws compared to 25-of-28 for the Seahawks.

The Lions return to action on Saturday, November 26 as they host the Virgin Islands. Tip-off is set for 2 p.m. at the FMU Wellness Center.
