Lions Softball Drop Two At Edward Waters Saturday

Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Following its big wins in exhibitions just one day earlier, Florida Memorial University couldn't find the same offensive or defensive juice Saturday as it dropped both games of its first road doubleheader of the season at Edward Waters University – falling 10-1 in the first game and 19-1 in the second.

The Lions and head coach Pedro Herrera will have a nearly a month to recoup and regroup as the team won't hit the diamond again until it travels to Kissimmee, Florida on March 8th to take part in the three-day Fortune Road College Softball Tournament – where they it is scheduled to play five games over the span of the tourney.
