In a day where temperatures reached near triple digits, the Lions offense struggled to produce a goal. However, deep into the second half, Darian Crespo's free kick ricocheted off the crossbar as the Conquistador goalkeeper eventually deflected it away for a corner kick, but the Lions couldn't finish the job.

In the net, D1 transfer Joshua Aranzazu finished the contest with five saves.
