Lions drop road contest to SCAD in South Carolina

Box Score HARDEEVILLE, S.C. | FMU stumbled on the road in SUN action, falling 1-0 to SCAD Savannah.

The Lions battled back and forth with the Bees to a scoreless first half, but in the 73rd minute, SCAD Savannah broke the tie with a goal from Caio Lara.

Florida Memorial was led by striker Jeremiah Johnson who generated a team-high three shots while fellow Lion Bryce Dickerson produced a team-high two shots on goal.

The Lions return to action on Wednesday, Oct. 4 as they travel to Babson Park, Fla. to face Webber. Kickoff is slated for 1:30 p.m.
