HIALEAH, Fla. | The Lions' trip to Florida National ended in a sweep at the hands of the Conquistadors (25-12, 25-19, 25-21).

Transfer Bethania Barreto led the team with seven kills, while graduate student Agustina Busque led the team in aces with three.

Amiya Harden produced five kills while Olivia Dodd added two for FMU.

The loss marks the fifth straight for Florida Memorial, who drop to 3-7 on the year.

The Lions return to action Saturday, October 14 where they'll travel to Florida College to take on the Falcons. First serve is scheduled for 2 p.m. in Temple Terrace, Fla.
