MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. | Florida Memorial took one set from Southeastern, but eventually fell 4-1 in the home opener at the FMU Beach Courts. The Lions later fell to Warner 5-0 in the afternoon contest.
The duo of
Agustina Busque and
Olivia Dodd earned the Lions' only victory of the day as they defeated Southeastern 2-1 in the number one slot, but the team eventually fell to the Fire 4-1.
In the afternoon slot, FMU fell to Warner by the score of 5-0.
