AVE MARIA, Fla. | Florida Memorial snapped a two-match skid with a 3-0 (25-23, 25-21, 25-16) victory over Ave Maria, earning its first conference win of the season.

Brazilian hitters Caroline Souza and Rafaela Nogueira both finished with a game-high with 12 kills apiece while teammate Agustina Busque produced a game-high 30 assists in the win.

Middle blocker Jasmine Maldonado added three blocks and sealed the middle while fellow Lion Bethania Barretto added one.

The Lions return to action Wednesday, September 27 where it hosts Keiser in conference competition. First serve is set for 7 p.m. at the FMU Wellness Center.
