MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. | Florida Memorial University (FMU) is proud to announce the appointment of Chandra Dorsey-Felton as Interim Deputy Athletic Director for Student Success & Compliance. With over 22 years of experience as a Division I coach, Chandra has been instrumental in compliance and academic success at institutions such as McNeese State University, The University of Southern Mississippi, The University of Tulsa, Wichita State University, Texas State University, and Tulane University.

Chandra's deep understanding of athletic compliance, coupled with her commitment to fostering student-athlete development, positions her as a key leader within FMU's athletics department. Her proven track record in elevating both academic and athletic performance aligns with FMU's mission of promoting excellence in every aspect of the student-athlete experience.

Chandra's dedication to both athletic and academic excellence, along with her extensive experience, makes her a valuable addition to the FMU community. We are excited to see her continue to elevate our programs to new levels of success.

Chandra holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) 2001, where she also excelled as a student-athlete. She and her husband, Danny, reside in Miami with their four children—twins Danny Jr. and Destiny, as well as Taylor and Tyler.
