SARASOTA, Fla. | The Florida Memorial University men's soccer team defeated New College of Florida 4-2 in an important road contest. The victory lifts the Lions to 6-5-2 on the season.

Johan Arevalo scored a goal minutes before the halftime whistle, then scored yet another goal in the first 30 seconds of the second half as the Lions poured in a total of three second-half goals in the two-goal victory.

Rafael Coronado also generated two goals of his own in the second-half, including the match-winner in the 82nd minute, with Arevalo assisting on both goals.
FMU returns to action on Monday, October 28 as they host No. 11 Keiser in a rescheduled match. Kickoff is slated for 1 p.m. at Dr. Lester Brown Park.
