MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. | Florida Memorial University mounted a fourth-quarter charge against Warner, defeating the Royals 71-62 at the FMU Wellness Center. The Lions struggled in the second and third quarters, getting outscored by the Royals 41-26. But the fourth was a different story. FMU outscored Warner 26-6 in the final 10 minutes to turn the tide and claim their second straight conference victory.

Kamesha Moore led the team with 22 points, going 10-17 from the field and leading the team in steals with five. Senior
Alyza Winston added 15 points, going 6-of-13 from the field and 3-of-7 from the three-point line. Senior
Agar Farres Garcia finished with a dobule-double, with 14 points and 12 rebounds and completing the trio of Lions with double-digit points.
The win moves FMU to 7-1 on the season and 2-0 in conference play.
The Lions return to action Saturday, November 23, when they'll travel to New College of Florida for conference action. Tip-off is slated for 2 p.m. in Sarasota, Fla.
