St. Thomas scored two runs in the bottom of the first to take an early lead over FMU. The Lions got on the board in the top of the second when senior Ulises Rodriguez hit an RBI single that scored first baseman Keith Harden. However, FMU's offense stalled, generating only five hits throughout the afternoon while the Bobcats scored an additional 11 runs to end the game after seven innings.
