Luis Ruiz RBI in the bottom of the first, before the Fire added an additional 10 runs throughout the afternoon. The game ended after seven innings due to the mercy rule, handing Florida Memorial the 25-1 defeat.

Ricardo Alvarez de Lugo finished on the mound for the Lions allowing five hits and two earned runs in his two innings of action.
The loss drops FMU to 16-16 on the year and 5-11 in conference play.
The Lions return to action Thursday, April 11, where they'll host No. 5 Webber International for game one of the weekend series. First pitch is scheduled for 2 p.m. at Harry T. Moore Baseball Field.
