Women's Soccer Players of the Week

12657Defensive Player of the Week
Maude Rouanet, Keiser | Sr. - Goalkeeper - Malo, France

Keiser took home two big wins over No. 2 and No. 3 in the NAIA over the weekend and much of it was thanks to the keeper, Maude Rouanet. Making her fifth and sixth career starts in goal, Rouanet started the week with a career-high six saves and earned the win in goal over No. 2 William Carey. Against No. 3 Tennessee Southern, she was once again a huge factor. She made five stops in the contest to give the Seahawks their second top-3 win on the week. Going into Friday, WCU was averaging 4.33 goals per game while UTS was averaging 6.4 goals per game going into Sunday.

12658Offensive Player of the Week
Lauren Riley, Keiser | Jr. - Forward - Staffordshire, England

Registering five points against two of the top three teams in the NAIA, Lauren Riley was integral to two big wins for the Seahawks. Against No. 2 William Carey, Riley assisted on the first goal of the game. Facing No. 3 Tennessee Southern two days later, Riley notched her fourth-career brace that included a rocket from 30 yards away. In addition to taking the top spot on the Keiser scoresheet, she helped the Seahawks go perfect at the Orange Beach Classic for the first time since 2016.
