MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. | Trailing 31-0 at the half, the Florida Memorial University football team dropped its Sun Conference opener 45-17 to No. 8 St. Thomas in the Battle of Miami Gardens at Betty T. Ferguson Stadium. The contest marks the second straight loss for the Lions, who fall to 1-2-1 on the year.
