As a team, the Lions dominated down low, scoring 36 points in the paint compared to just 18 for their opponent.
FMU returns to the court on Wednesday, January 15 as they travel across town to face St. Thomas in the Battle of Miami Gardens. Tip-off is slated for 5:30 p.m. at the Fernandez Family Center.
