MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. | The Florida Memorial University men's basketball team won its fourth straight contest with a 68-58 victory over the College of Coastal Georgia at the FMU Wellness Center.

FMU senior post player Latavious Mitchell put on another dominant performance and produced another double-double, scoring a game-high 19 points and grabbing 13 boards while fellow Lion Winston Cole generated eight points, eight rebounds, two assists and one block before fouling out of the contest.

As a team, the Lions were relentless down low, finishing with 38 points in the paint while winning the rebound battle 47-37. FMU's bench mob once again proved to be the difference, outscoring the Mariners bench 20-15.

FMU returns to the court on Wednesday, January 15 as they travel across town to face St. Thomas in the Battle of Miami Gardens. Tip-off is slated for 7:30 p.m. at the Fernandez Family Center.
