As a team, the Lions were relentless down low, finishing with 38 points in the paint while winning the rebound battle 47-37. FMU's bench mob once again proved to be the difference, outscoring the Mariners bench 20-15.
FMU returns to the court on Wednesday, January 15 as they travel across town to face St. Thomas in the Battle of Miami Gardens. Tip-off is slated for 7:30 p.m. at the Fernandez Family Center.
