Box Score AVE MARIA, Fla. | The winning ways continued for Florida Memorial University, as the Lions defeated Ave Maria 2-0 on the road in SUN Conference action.

The Lions got on top in the 11th minute, when sophomore Nasreddine Benbella scored his ninth goal of the season to give FMU the lead. Midfielder Vicente Silva continued the scoring with in the 89th minute, when he found the back of the net to seal the victory for FMU.

Goalkeeper Juan Mora played all 90 minutes, finishing with two saves.

The win is the fourth straight for FMU, advancing them to 6-5-3 on the year and 3-1-1 in conference play.

The Lions return to action, Wednesday, October 22, when they'll travel to Sarasota to take on New College of Florida. Kickoff is slated for 4:30 p.m.
