MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. | Florida Memorial University men's soccer team honored six seniors for its annual senior day. Diego Olguín,
Carlo Lopez,
Rena Octave Fra Itamouna Bondima,
Nikos Koutsourais,
Michel Klein, and
Ricardo Delgado Villalobos were all honored for their potential final home match as an FMU Lion. Unfortunetly, Keiser played the role of spoiler, defeating FMU 2-1 at Dr. Lester Brown Park.
FMU struck first, when Olguín scored his first goal of the season in the 19th minute. The Seahawks tied the match in the 31st minute, before taking the lead out of halftime, in the 77th minute to seal the win.
Villalobos played all 90 minutes, finishing with nine saves and allowing two goals.
FMU finishes the regular season with a 7-7-3 overall record and a 4-3-1 conference record.
The Lions return to action Wednesday, November 5, for round one of the SUN Conference Tournament. Time and location is TBA.
