MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. | After being up 32-25 in the first half, Florida Memorial University struggled in the second half, resulting in a 65-60 loss to Southeastern in the conference opener.

Sehmaj Mentor co-led the team in scoring with 12 points apiece, while teammate
Morgan Brewer added 10 points for FMU. Selden led the team in rebounds with seven, while Mentor added six for FMU.
The loss drops FMU to 3-2 on the year and 0-1 in conference play.
The Lions return to action on Wednesday, November 19, when they'll travel to Warner to take on the Royals. Tip-off is slated for 7 p.m. in Lake Wales.
