FMU GK Rueda earns Women's Soccer All-SUN Conference honors

TAMPA, Fla. – The 2025 All-Sun Conference Women's Soccer Teams were announced Tuesday morning following votes by the league's nine head coaches.

FMU goalkeeper Isabella Rueda landed on second-team All-SUN Conference.
 

Regular season runner-up Keiser led all programs with 10 total All-Conference selections, including five First Team and five Second Team honorees. Returning all-conference standouts included Lauren Riley, Maria Vilhena, and Georgia Little.

Regular season champion Southeastern followed with seven total All-Conference selections, featuring three First Team honorees and four on the Second Team. Among the returning Fire standouts were repeat All-Conference selections Madelyn Davidson and Olivia Thomassy.

SCAD Savannah earned six total All-Conference honors, highlighted by four First Team selections and two on the Second Team. Returning First Team honorees included Ida Akesson, Lois Beer, and Saga Bryntesson.

St. Thomas collected three All-Conference selections between the First and Second Teams, while Florida Memorial and Warner each placed one student-athlete on the Second Team.

The 2025 Sun Conference Women's Soccer Championship begins Wednesday, November 5, with quarterfinal matchups hosted by the higher seeds. No. 4 St. Thomas will host No. 5 Florida Memorial, while No. 3 SCAD Savannah will face No. 6 Ave Maria. Top-seeded Southeastern and No. 2 Keiser have earned first-round byes and will open play in the semifinals on Saturday, November 8.
