AVE MARIA, Fla. | No. 15 Florida Memorial University erased a 10-point halftime deficit to force overtime, eventually falling to No. 23 Ave Maria 83-82 on the road. The loss snaps FMU's 10-game win streak as they fall to 8-3 in SUN Conference play.

With seconds remaining, FMU missed an opportunity for the game-winner as sharpshooter Calvin Payton was off the mark at the buzzer.

The Lions were led by Terrin Hamilton, who produced a game-high 22 points on 8-of-10 shooting from the field, including 6-of-8 from downtown while teammate Winston Cole finished with 15 points, shooting a perfect 6-of-6 from the field.

FMU's bench mob outscored the Gyrenes bench 25-17 in the loss.

The Lions return to the court on Wednesday, February 5 as they host New College of Florida. Tip-off is slated for 7:30 p.m. at the FMU Wellness Center.
