AVE MARIA, Fla. | (RV) Florida Memorial University was outscored 22-10 in the final quarter in only their second conference loss of the season as Ave Maria won 69-55.
The Lions were led by
Alyza Winston who produced a team-high 12 points on 5-of-11 shooting from the field to go along with one rebound and one assist while teammate
Makayla Transou added 11 points and three boards in the loss.
As a team, FMU shot a dismal 3-of-19 (16 percent) in the fourth quarter, erasing any chance of a comeback.

Florida Memorial University returns to the court on Wednesday, February 5 as they host New College of Florida. Tip-off is slated for 5:30 p.m. at the FMU Wellness Center.
