MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. | Florida Memorial University fell to Keiser 65-61 at the FMU Wellness Center in the conference finale. The loss snaps FMU's 4-game win streak as they head to this weekend's non-conference contest for the regular season finale as they sit at 20-4 overall and 13-3 in conference play.
The Lions got behind early, trailing 19-13 at the end of the first quarter and never could fully recover as Keiser poured in 40 points in the paint while FMU produced 34.
However, FMU made a late furious comeback as
Alicia Bates missed a game-tying 3-pointer with 22 seconds left in the ball game.
Florida Memorial University was led by
Agar Farres Garcia who produced a double-double, scoring a team-high 15 points to go along with 14 rebounds, four steals, two assists and two blocks while teammate
Kamesha Moore added 12 points, two steals and two rebounds before fouling out of the contest.

Kalea Rainey added 10 points on 4-of-6 shooting from the field.
FMU's bench was outscored by Keiser's bench 30-24, while shooting 35 percent from the field (21-of-59) as a team.
Florida Memorial University returns to the court on Saturday, February 22 as they host Florida National in the regular season finale. Tip-off is slated for 5 p.m. at the FMU Wellness Center.
