TAMPA, Fla. – The Sun Conference announces the Player of the Week honorees for the week of March 31, 2025, with Florida Memorial University catcher Christopher Marte being named the SUN Conference Baseball Player of the Week.

Player of the Week
Christopher Marte, Florida Memorial | So. - Catcher - Miami, Fla.

Marte produced a total of 11 hits, five runs and a season-high nine RBI in the 2-2 series against Ave Maria, including a home run. Notched a .688 batting average with a 1.063 slugging.


Pitcher of the Week
Blayne Huter, Webber International | Sr. - Right-handed Pitcher - Sebring, Fla.

Huter set another career high for strikeouts in a 9-inning complete game shutout of Crooked Lake Rivals Warner. Huter struck out 14 Royals en route to a 2-0 victory where he only gave up three hits.
