MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. | The Florida Memorial University Athletics Department announces a change in leadership.

CJ Combs, who began coaching at FMU in Spring 2023, has resigned her position of head softball coach, effective immediately.

Combs led the Lions to their first post-season appearance in 2024, qualifying for the SUN Conference Tournament, as well as winning the program's first Tournament game in history that same year.

 Florida Memorial University will conduct a national search for its next head softball coach.
