LAKELAND, Fla. | Florida Memorial University put on a clinic against RV Southeastern, defeating the Fire 96-70 in their second matchup against them. Both the offense and defense fired on all cylinders, scoring 47 points or more in both halves and holding SEU to 40 or less in both halves.
Senior
Morgan Brewer earned a double-double 18 points and 10 rebounds, leading the team in the later category. Senior
Devin Carter led the team in scoring with 19 points on 7-of-12 from the field, while sophomore
Sehmaj Mentor added 13 points for FMU. Teammates
Cameron Noel and
Petar Asceric each scored 12 points for FMU, meaning five Lions have 12 points or more in the win.
The win moves FMU to 14-7 on the year and 6-3 in conference play.
