MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. | Florida Memorial University struggled in its doubleheader against No. 10 Southeastern, as they fell 10-3 and 13-1 in the doubleheader, falling to 3-0 in the series. The Lions were up 2-0 to SEU after the first inning, before struggling on offense, getting outscored 10-1 in the final six innings of game one. Errors were costly for FMU, as they committed eight across both games to SEU's four.
The losses drop FMU to 14-12 on the year and 1-6 in conference play.
The Lions return to action, Saturday, March 21, for the series finale against SEU. First pitch is slated for noon at Harry T. Moore Baseball Field.
