Kamaya Knox joined the FMU volleyball team in fall 2024.

A native to Houston, Texas, Knox graduated from Nimitz Senior High School in 2024. She played under head coach Rhonda Williams for one year and earned numerous accolades, including Honorable Mentions, Academic All-District, A/B Honor Roll and National Technical Society. She was also part of Future Farmers of America (FFA).

Knox played for the Allegiance Volleyball Club for seven years under head coach Marissa Thomas.
