Florida Memorial University earned a straight set victory over Ohio's Central State University at the EWC Tournament on Friday. 

The Lions overwhelmed the Marauders of Central State with a balanced attack on offense. Leading the way for the Lions was Yulianna Charris with 12 kills.

Putting on a serving clinic was Emily Manfredy, she finished the match wih 18 service points and 7 aces. "Every time I called a number or a spot on the court Emily served with with pin point accuracy, she was a force today with her serves", said Coach Alvarez.

The Lions improved their record to 2-1 and will face Mississippi's Tougaloo College Saturday morning.
