Taela Campbell and
Julia Carneiro were celebrated for their hard work and dedication to success on and off the court. Unfortuntely, Warner played the role of spoiler, defeating FMU 3-2 (24-26, 26-24, 25-17, 17-25, 9-15) for the final match of the season.
Sophomore
Desiree Donald led the team with 18 kills, while junior
Carolina Alonso led in assists with 20. Sophomore
Serena Edwards led in digs with 16.
Warner won the first set 26-24, and the Lions followed up by winning the next set with the same score. They also won the third set 25-17, with the Royals taking the win for the fourth set 25-17. The game concluded with Warner scoring 15 to the Lions nine in the last set, leading to the final score of 3-2.
FMU ends the 2025 season with a 1-23 record and a 1-13 conference record.
