On Friday the FMU Lions hosted the Tigers of Edward Waters at the FMU Wellness Center. The Lions swept the Tigers 3-0. Leading the way for the Lions was Jazmin Molina with a double double,  21 digs and 12 service points. 

The Tigers jumped out to an early lead but the Lions kept their composure and defeated the Tigers in the first set 25-17. The Lions won the second set 25-21. Gerti Bineva led the way for the Lions with 7 kills and 4 service points. The Lions won the third set 25-21 behind the strong play of Sammyra Albarran who finished the match with 18 kills. 

The Lions improved their record to 5-1 and are scheduled to host Florida National University on Wednesday, September 5th, at 7:00 pm.
